New Distribution Centre

4th June 2018

We have some big news at Dundee Foodbank. After about 12 years, we are going to be moving out of our distribution centre at the Full Gospel Church. Starting up as the Discovery Food Programme, before becoming part of the Trussell Trust Group in 2012, the Full Gospel Church has helped tens of thousands of men, women and children from going hungry. Our last day of operations at the Full Gospel Church (Constitution Street) will be Friday 29th June 2018.

As of Monday 2nd July we will operating a new distribution centre which is located at;

St John’s Episcopal Church,

116 Albert Street,

DD4 6QN

The opening times will remain the same (Monday-Friday 10am-4pm). However, we will be changing our referral procedure. We will be scrapping the telephone-based referral system, and instead people will be able to receive vouchers directly from our referring partners. We are in the process of contacting all of our referral partners to talk through this change of system.

Once we move into St John’s Episcopal Church, we will then scrap the telephone-based referral system. The number 01382 226372 will become redundant. St John’s Church will just become a distribution centre. As such, we have decided to move our administrative offices up to our warehouse, which is based at;

Unit 5 Dunsinane Avenue,

DD2 3QN.

Any telephone enquiries to be made to Dundee Foodbank will now need to be made through our warehouse phone number: 01382 698020 (but as mentioned before telephone referrals will not be accepted).

Until such time that we do move out of the Full Gospel Church, the telephone-based referral system will be operational and you should phone 01382 226372.

We will then change over to our new referral system once we have moved to St John’s Episcopal Church on Monday 2nd July.

We realise this may be a lot of information to process, so please do feel free to contact us should you have any questions.

Thank you for your continued support.
