Our collection day at Tannadice prior to the Dundee United vs Livingston game on Saturday 23rd December proved a massive success. We took in 625.96kg of food and a staggering £2800 from our cash collection and online Just Giving page. This will be split with Taught by Muhammad as we both continue work to ensure that no-one in Dundee goes hungry.
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came along and donated food or money. We are endlessly grateful for the terrific support we receive from the Dundee public. In addition we would like to thank the Livingston FC fans who also made donations before the match.
A big thank you to all of our volunteers for standing out in rather chilly conditions for a couple of hours. Simply put, our Foodbanks could not function without the fantastic work of our volunteers.
And of course thank you to Dundee United FC, Dundee United Community Trust and the ArabTRUST for their support in coordinating this event. We look forward to working with you again in the future.
